Amber Mays graduated from Zebulon B. Vance High School in Charlotte, NC in 2000. She attended Appalachian State University on a softball scholarship and earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in History Secondary Education. She taught history in Cabarrus County Schools at Jay M. Robinson High school for 10 years. She also coached softball, volleyball, and basketball. While teaching, she earned her Masters of Administration and Supervision at Liberty University. Mrs. Mays then obtained an assistant principal position at her alma mater of Zebulon B.Vance High School. She recently completed her 4th year at Vance High School before coming to �°��ſ��������ѯ. She begins her 4th year as assistant principal at Dutchman Creek.

Mrs. Mays likes spending time with her son, Greyson, and her husband, Brian. She also has a pitbull mix named Thor. In her spare time she likes to play sports and travel.
